Losing teeth in a dentists office

“Losing teeth in a dentists office”

By: metaphase

Just had a terrifying dream that all of my teeth fell out. I was in a dentist's office and all of my teeth suddenly started feeling really loose. I started spitting out teeth and when I realized what was happening I panicked I put my hand into my mouth. All of my lower teeth as well as my tongue loosened from my jaw and started coming out so I pushed it back down into place. It just stayed there loosely and I was having extreme difficulty talking. It felt as if my jaw was broken and I had a huge slur in my speech.

Nobody could understand me. One of the dentists gave me a handful of mini brushes that were about the size of teeth so I started jamming them into the sockets in my mouth. I looked into the mirror and realized they werent all brushes, some of them were medications in tubes and I had even stuck those into my sockets. I pulled those out and started looking for more of the brushes and saw another dentist so I asked her to please help me, I was pleading with her. I told her I just had my braces removed and now my teeth are falling out.

She didnt look like she was concerned at all and just said that she could fix it but she decided to walk out of the door with her daughter. I told her that the other dentist gave me these brushes to put into my gums but they still give me huge difficulty in speaking and she started to reprimand the other dentist saying that it was for patients only. After she left I looked back at the first dentist who had originally helped me. He looked a little upset that I started panicking and asking for others to help me but then he understood and told me to give him my teeth and it would be an interesting experiment. All I could do was think how drastic my life was about to change and how much I will miss being able to function as a normal human being.

I started talking with a lisp and everything. It was more like slurred speech I couldnt say anything.I kept looking in the mirror and saw my bottom jaw had no teeth and empty sockets everywhere. How would I live the rest of my life with no teeth, unable to speak properly. How would I be able to afford to get anything such as implants or dentures. I felt horrible and then somebody walked into my room and decided to wake me up. Im glad they did and Im glad it was a dream because I have all of my teeth and feel so relieved!
